We were fortunate enough to get on a video call with the legendary Martyn Rooney to get insider knowledge about athletics and what’s to come for him as he steps away from the track as a competitor.
Martyn is a sprinter with 16 years experience, in that time he bagged himself an Olympic Bronze in Beijing, 3x Golds at the European Championships and multiple podium placing performances at World Championships. Having such a long and successful career, we thought it would be beneficial to share his wise words, especially for athletes looking to hang up their boots or step away from the track.
